Can you believe I hadn't heard A$AP Rocky's Fashion Killa until now? Yeah, me neither.


Never mind that the song itself is super fun and Rocky's very talented, whatever. What most impressed me was his name drop of Ann Demeuelemeester within a rap verse - and of course, all the rest of the famous (and some not-so-famous) fashion brands. Some I was expecting to hear, given their tight relationships with certain rap gods - Rick Owens and Alexander Wang, ok. I'm sure Kanye has already put little North in more Rick Owens than I will ever see in my life. Tom Ford? Jay-Z mentioned his name so often, his lyrics got a sequined nod in Ford's F/W14 line.  But Visvim? Damir Doma? My eyebrows are raised in amusement and pleasure - and a little bit of intimidation.

I mean, it's gotta be hard to date a "fashion guy," especially a famous one - they know about the hot new lines before you do, they have front row seats at every show, and you can bet your knock-off Prada's he knows those pumps are fake. He'd expect a fashion statement for every date, and that can get tiring and expensive. Luckily for any ladies looking to date A$AP Rocky, he's provided a pretty exhaustive checklist - but since he's currently dating Chanel Iman I'm sure he has zero complaints, fashion or otherwise.
