HI-STYLE GUIDE TO GLAMPING

I went camping this weekend. And I did not hate it, but I will not be participating for at least 5 more years. There is too much stuff involved. And the biggest annoyance for me was that you bring it there clean and then you bring it back dirty.

I have decided that if I was okay with camping I would certainly love glamping. You get the best of both worlds--the beautiful outdoors, the fresh air and then you get the necessaries (a comfy bed, clean sheets, champagne..) After my experience camping this weekend, I have put a lot of thought about what I would need to be comfortable going back out into the wilderness for the weekend. Get ready folks, it's about to be a comfy ride.

WHAT TO PACK WHILE GLAMPING

Okay folks, here is the deal. You want to plan out your outfits in advance because you do NOT want to over-pack. MKS is the queen of the outfit spreadsheet, so if you need a tutorial let us know! Like I said you are bringing it all clean and taking it all back dirty, so you want to be efficient (that's my life motto btw).

HOW TO EXIST WHILE GLAMPING

LOTUS TENT

Lotus Belle Tent
You can thank my sis MKM for this fabulous find. This camp will fit all your friends, all your belongings, and keep you warm at night! Sounds like a winning combination.

SLEEPING

Sleeping Bag- Burton/ Cot- Cabelas

Generally in camping locations, the evenings are cooler, so you are going to need a nice warm sleeping bag for your open air tent. With your sleeping bag, you are going to need a cot. This one is perfect because it has pockets for your glasses, and other nightly needs!

SHOWER

Shower- ATG Stores
One thing I longed for was to rinse the river off of my body and feet. And, I have found the jackpot. But, please remember that I am not advise you bring your entire shower routine to the great outdoors. You don't want to harm its beauty with soaps! So please, stick to the natural stuff. Mother Nature thanks you.

NAPPING HAMMOCK

Hammock- Hayneedle
One thing I loved about camping was being disconnected from my phone. It allowed me to nap in hammocks and float down rivers. This beautiful hammock is perfect for that spot between the trees.

DRINKING

Plastic champagne flutes- Amazon

Over here we love a good beer, but sitting around the campfire with a St. Germain cocktail in a cute champagne glass sounds even better. Check out MKS's post for the perfect recipe to pair with your s'more.

And here is is, the only picture I took while camping.

I hope this guide serves you well, my friends. Now, everybody go tweet/insta/facebook MKS for her hilarious "camping" story.
