WHAT TO ROCK, NOW

"I AM THE GREAT CORNHOLIO"

It's 2015, baby - the year of hoverboards, Friends on Netflix, the birth of GossipBB...and I have nothing to wear.

Jokes, I obviously own clothes. But I want to look 3008, not two thousand late, without re-doing my whole wardrobe. Ahead are some sweet buys that will take you into the new year with style and sass - we'll get back to you on those hoverboards.

Charlotte Olympia Taboo Clutch, Matches.

Numero uno, big enchilada update for 2015? The color of the year: marsala! No longer just the shade of my teeth after a few glasses of rioja, this is the color to be seen in this year. Pucker up to this lovely clutch from Charlotte Olympia - but fast, because it's on major markdown.

PALMAA blanket scarf, Ted Baker.

Keep yourself warm for the first few months of the year with this ginormous scarf from Ted Baker - it's longer than I am tall! Plus the floral print will tide you over til the real blooms come out.

Dart Detail Dress, COS

I'm a sucker for a shift dress with long sleeves, and the fact that it's in one of my favorite colors makes this a must for 2015.

Jeffrey Campbell Power Cut Heel, Nasty Gal.

Fancy sneaks, casual heels - who cares what they are, they're fabulous.

Cashmere Matte Polish in All Eyes on Nudes, Essie

I'm over elaborate nail art (though was I ever really into it?). Keep it chic and modern this year with a natural length manicure and a great nude polish. Essie's Cashmere Matte collection looks as luxe as your favorite knit, and you'll love it just as much.

Naomi Color Block Coat, Pixie Market.

With stripes of periwinkle, grey, and marsala, this coat will be the envy of street style stalkers everywhere.

MICA by Opening Ceremony, Intel.

Step aside, Apple Watch. Intel has partnered with Opening Ceremony to bring you the chicest of tech accessories - MICA, or My Intelligent Communication Accessory. Think Jetson's functionality with next-level beauty. It won't replace your phone entirely, but it's a fabulous complement - imagine being able to go to an event with no pockets, a teeny tiny clutch that can only hold lipstick, and not be panicked the whole time that you don't have your gigantic iPhone 6. Hold on, I have an incoming message vibrating on my wrist. Know what it says? FREEDOM.

Hansel from Basel Sheer Mermaid Crew Socks, Steven Alan.

I can't think of anything sweeter to pair with my oxfords, and especially with a cropped trouser to let these sirens sing!

Fringed Messenger Bag, Zara.

The color. The texture. The tassel. What are you waiting for?!

Poodle Sweatshirt, SheInside.

"MUST LOVE DOGS" to rep this cropped sweatshirt.

High-Waisted Jeans, Forever 21.

For 2015 I'm feeling indigo, girl. These cropped jeans are an absolute steal at $12.90, and I swear they don't look it. Your budget-friendly butt will thank you.

Dolce bralette & boyshort, Cosabella.

Slip into something seriously more comfortable with this Cosabella bralette and boyshort set. If I could wear nothing else for the rest of my life, it would be this - though I might get a little chilly.

A Glimmer of Gold Mineralize Palette, M.A.C.

Gild your lids with this fierce palette from M.A.C. - 2015 is the year of the minimalist goddess.

Japan Stripe Crew Neck, Uniqlo.

Lord knows I love a good French sailor stripe, and even though this one hails from Japan it's top of the heap. C'est parfait!

Kiss Stud, Winden; Curved Bar Earring, Jennie Kwon; both available at Catbird

Fall runways saw an onslaught of single statement earrings dangling down to there, but let's keep it short and simple for 2015 with mix-n-match studs.

John Frieda Beach Blonde Spray, Target.

The cult sea spray that launched a thousand tousled mops is finally back! Well, back-ordered. John Frieda heard my prayers and re-released his infamous Beach Blonde Sea Waves spray and I couldn't be happier. Best part: being blonde is not a requirement for use.

Faux Leather Pointed Oxfords, Forever 21.

How can you say no to these playful yet sleek rose gold oxfords?

Wet Gloss Clear Brow Mascara, e.l.f.

There's a good way and a bad way to fake a good brow, and I've seen more than enough of the bad way. The telltale heavy handed eyebrows that Miss Delevingne has nightmares about are everywhere, and they need to be tamed. Get back to a more natural state by replacing that elaborate Sharpie routine with a couple swipes of clear mascara - but we won't tell if you help your brows out with a little tinted powder now and then.

Stippled Septum Cuff, Rackk&Ruin.

You heard it here first: I'm a big chicken. I won't actually get my septum pierced (you're welcome, Mom) but that doesn't mean I don't still envy those who do. Fake that cool-as-hell vibe with a septum cuff - neither your Mom nor your boss will freak out.

Pink Leather Look Biker Jacket, River Island

Lighten up your leather for spring with this fabulous leather-look biker jacket from River Island. Customization is at an all time high when it comes to jacket backs, so if you can convince your BFFs to get in on it, you can make your own pastel biker gang! ...HI-STYLERS, you down?

Cara Delevingne for NOWNESS

2015 is the year of saying YES and having as much fun doing the everyday stuff as Cara does doing, well, anything at all.
Cheers & happy shopping!
